Meet Your Dietitian

Aloha and Welcome!

I am so happy that you are here.

My name is Shae, a registered dietitian nutritionist specializing in pediatric nutrition, food allergies, and intolerances. My passion is helping families feel confident in nourishing their little ones — from first bites to teen years.

I take a personalized, evidence-based, and culturally inclusive approach, helping parents navigate food allergies, picky eating, and balanced meal planning with confidence and ease. Whether it’s introducing solids safely, managing multiple allergies, or finding foods that work for your family, my goal is to make nutrition simple, practical, and empowering.

When I’m not supporting families, you can find me surfing, foiling, paddling or spending time with my loved ones.

How to Get Started:

Waves

1. Book Initial Consult

Getting started is simple. I currently accept HMSA, HMAA, UHA, and additional insurance plans are being added. All appointments are booked directly through my secure online portal.

Your initial consultation is a comprehensive session where I take the time to understand your child, your family's concerns, and your goals. We'll discuss your child's medical history, growth, feeding patterns, eating habits, lifestyle, and any nutrition challenges you may be facing.

By the end of our visit, you'll leave with personalized recommendations, practical strategies, and a clear plan tailored to your child's unique needs. My goal is to provide evidence-based guidance that helps you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

2. Schedule Follow Ups

After our initial consultation, you’ll schedule your follow-up sessions. The frequency of visits depends on your child’s needs, the complexity of their case, and the pace of progress toward your family’s goals. Most families check in every 1–4 weeks until nutrition recommendations are comfortably integrated into daily life or symptoms are well managed.

During these sessions, you’ll receive personalized nutrition education, guidance, and support — helping your child (and family) build lasting, healthy habits with confidence.

3. Maintanence

As we move into continued follow-ups, our focus shifts toward helping your family maintain the healthy habits you’ve built. Together, we’ll create practical strategies and a “nutrition toolbox” that fits your lifestyle — so your child can continue to feel their best, even as life changes.

Once your family has reached your goals, you’re always welcome to check in as needed for ongoing support, growth, and reassurance along your child’s nutrition journey
